The theatrical trailer of Hrithik Roshan’s upcoming superhero film Krrish 3 has been the most viewed video on YouTube and has broken the past records in the same category for any Bollywood films.
It has broken all records so far.To add more to its success, the video has even defeated the videos of upcoming Hollywood films like The Avengers 2 and Thor 2.
After releasing on August 5 the trailer of Krrish 3 managed to bag around 48 lakh views in the first 3 days, leading to over 70 lakh views in 6 days. When for the last time the numbers were counted before getting reported by media, the views crossed over 1 crore 33 lakh. On the other hand the views of Avengers 2 trailers have been counted around 60 lakh and Thor 2 trailer has been clicked by over 32 lakh people so far.
An ecstatic Hrithik said, “I’m delighted with the response to the teaser. I am glad I can serve my audience with something to aspire for, something inspiring.” While it is known the film also stars Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangna Ranaut in lead roles, the trailer has briefly portrayed Priyanka, without any hint of Vivek’s character. Director Rakesh Roshan clarified on the same, “It’s a conscious decision. We want to keep the focus on the fact that Krrish is back. We’ll reveal other characters slowly and steadily.”
