A Biopic On Dara Singh

A biopic on legendary wrestler Dara Singh.With Farhan Akhtar’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Priyanka Chopra’s next on Mary Kom, the biopic fever seems to be catching up on Bollywood.

As the buzz goes, a biopic on legendary wrestler Dara Singh is slated to go on floors soon.  Indian wrestler-turned-actor Sangram Singh will be seen essaying the lead role in the film that will be initially launched in Punjabi followed by a Hindi version.

With Sangram Singh bagging the World's Best Professional Wrestler Award in 2012 and many more honours, the film will mark his debut in Bollywood.

Dara Singh who moved on to acting, post a successful stint as a wrestler, passed away on July 12, 2012.
