Bollywood actress and National Award winning actress Kangana Ranaut will be playing the role of a nautch girl (mujrawali) in 'Rajjo' directed by Vishwas Rao.
Directed by Vishwas Patil, 'Rajjo' is based on the mujra houses, which according to Kangana Ranaut are dying a slow death in today's competitive world.
The film will also see Mahesh Manjrekar playing the role of a eunuch in the film. His look is similar to Sadashiv Amrapurkar's in Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt's 'Sadak'.
The director has saved no expense in recreating an extensive red light area in Mumbai suburb, Borivali.
The film's producers Four Pillar Films have spent a whopping Rs 5 crore to build the sets, as it was difficult to shoot the scenes in a real red light area.
'Rajjo' also stars Paras Arora, Prakash Raj, Jaya Prada and Upendra Limaye.
The film is slated to release on November 15, thereby clashing with Yash Raj Film's 'Ramleela.'
