The Raanjhanaa star was out on the street to protest against the Mumbai gangrape that has shaken the entire country.
The gangrape of a photojournalist in Mumbai has triggered a massive outrage with protesters demanding harshest punishment of the attackers at the earliest. Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor too is angered by the incident and joined the protestors on August 25 at Joggers Park, Mumbai.
Sonam tweeted: “Lets fight back! Be there at joggers park, bandra today at 5pm to protest against the brutality towards women. Ill be there to support it!”
Sonam Kapoor had tweeted on the day of the incident: "I'm really shocked and taken aback with the recent shameful incident that took place in Mumbai yesterday. A sheer act of cowardice."
Many other Bollywood celebrities are there in anti-rape protest in Mumbai.
