'The Wolverine' is again a action movie. The earlier film of the series were particularly liked due to their high-octane action scenes and presence of a heavyweight starcast, but this time the onus will be on Hugh Jackman only to involve the audience in the narrative.

Hugh Jackman is back with the sixth installment of his hugely popular series 'X-Men'. Directed by James Mangold, 'The Wolverine' also features Rila Fukushima and Svetlana Khodchenkova in important roles.

The story carries forward the story of Logan (Jackman) who has become a recluse after the death of Jean Grey (Famke Janssen). He is now living a lonely life near a small Japanese town but he is not at peace as he is constantly having the nightmares related to the Second World War.

He's plucked from his hermit-like existence by a young Japanese girl with crimson hair and a wicked touch with a samurai sword. She's Yukio (Rila Fukushima), the adoptive granddaughter of the man Logan saved in Japan. That man is dying in Tokyo and has sent her to bring him back so he can personally thank Logan once again.During one of his volatile moods, Logan gets persuaded to come to the heartland of Japan where he is to meet some of the old acquaintances.
