The 34-year-old beauty filed for divorce from Cruise almost a year ago after six years of marriage.
She is planning to celebrate with friends at the plush Jane hotel in Manhattan, New York. "The mood of the bash with her closest pals will be enjoyable and emotional, with Katie wanting to thank them for their support throughout a momentous year.
Holmes has put the split behind her and has had a busy year as a single woman. She has starred in Broadway play 'Dead Accounts' and is filming new flick 'Mania Days', as well as bringing up daughter.
