Aurangzeb gets poor response.Aurangzeb gets a dull opening at box office.Bollywood latest flick Aurangzeb gathered a poor response from its audience on the first day of its release. The movie had a dull opening of 15-20 per cent with multiplexes around 15 per cent. At the single screens the movie could register only 20 per cent occupancy rate.

The movie did its best business in the North. The film needs to show a big jump on Saturday and Sunday.

Made with a budget of Rs 25 crore, the movie starring Arjun Kapoor in double role is about land mafia and features Jackie Shroff as a builder, while Rishi Kapoor plays a cop trying to nab him for being involved in illegal activities, hence the under-construction sites for press meets.

Directed by Atul Sabharwal, "Aurangzeb" also stars Amrita Singh, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Sashaa Agha in prominent roles.
