Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt was overwhelmed with emotion while watching Hansal Mehta’s latest film Citylights.
CityLights is a drama presented by Fox Star Studios in association with Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. A special screening of the film was held recently and watching the film turned out to be memorable experience for Alia Bhatt.
“After 'Highway', I always used to see if people have tears in their eyes. Then I think that the movie is a hit. I came out of the theatre (screening 'Citylights') crying, so the director was very happy,” Alia Bhatt said in a statement.
The film is based on the life of a trader in Rajasthan who comes to the city of Mumbai with his wife and daughter in hope of a better life. It is releasing on May 30.
Alia Bhatt will next be seen with Varun Dhawan in ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ the first look of which was released recently.
