Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan and Shahid Kapoor Attacked in Kashmir.Team Haider is presently in Kashmir shooting for the film and while shooting in the Aishan Sahab Zaina Kadal area in Old Srinagar, a kangri (pot filled with burning coals) was hurled at Shahid Kapoor and Irrfan Khan.
An onlooker has been quoted saying that both the actors were shooting for the film, when suddenly somebody threw a kangri which almost hit Irrfan. The ash from the kangri flew into the air and covered both Shahid and him. He further states that after that incident the spectators started running from the venue and a few young men started shouting anti-India slogans.
However, the cops have a diffrent story to tell. According to the police the kangri was not thrown at the actors but it slipped out of an on-lookers hand. Crew members of the film too have denied the reports.
The crew later moved to the next location, where they were followed by a large entourage of J&K police as well as Central Reserve Police Force personnel.
