The Jonas Brothers call it quits.
After rumors of a rift and an abruptly canceled tour, the band has told People they're done. It's official that the Jonas Brothers are back to being just brothers.
Speculation over the band’s demise has been rife since they cancelled a tour earlier this month.
They previously told their Twitter followers: ‘Please hold while we get our sh*t together,’ however band member Kevin has now confirmed that there is no way back, telling People magazine: ‘It’s over for now.’
"It's over for now," Kevin Jonas said.
"It's really hard to say 'forever,' " said Nick. "We're closing a chapter, for sure."
"It was a unanimous decision," said Joe.
The band's spokesman, Jesse Derris, told the magazine earlier this month that a "deep rift within the band" had developed over their musical direction.
Perhaps most ominously, their official Twitter account, @JonasBrothers, was deactivated.
