Suraj Pancholi Gets Bail

 

Suraj Pancholi gets bail.Aspiring actor Suraj Pancholi, charged with abetting actress Jiah Khan's suicide, has been granted bail by the Bombay High court. Mr Pancholi was required to pay a surety of Rs 50,000 and surrender his passport.

 He will also have to present himself at a police station on alternate days. Mr Pancholi has been in jail since June 13. On June 27, a lower court denied Mr Pancholi's bail application, and sent him to jail for at least 13 more days. Mr Pancholi, 21, who dated the actress for an year, was arrested on June 11, 2013. His family and lawyers say there is no evidence that links him to Ms Khan's hanging at her home on June 3, 2013.
