BO report: Saif's Bullett Raja is a 'super disaster'.

Bollywood movie Bullett Raja - Saif Ali Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer, was made on a budget of Rs. 58 crore, including print and publicity costs. With a usually reliable director, like Tigmanshu Dhulia, at the helm, everyone expected the film to have done better.

“There was nothing exciting in it. Tigmanshu is not a commercial name, so it was unlikely to work because of him. Even the promos and music weren’t exciting,” says Mehra, adding, “It was like taking the audience for granted, and that backfired. It’s a big setback for the makers and Saif.”

Before its release, Bullett Raja failed to create any buzz. Unfortunately, the trend continued even after it hit theatres. The film’s box-office figures are far from encouraging.

Trade analysts are sure that the film will struggle to break even, let alone generate profits. “It’s a super disaster. It didn’t open well and there wasn’t any improvement during the weekend. By Monday, it totally crashed,” says trade analyst Amod Mehra.
